Academic/ Vocational Training

Residents are required to pursue academic goals and/or explore and seek sustainable income to become self sufficient.

Aftercare

Aftercare services are designed to support the transition from the shelter to the community. Continue Life, Inc. provides follow up services to any resident who stays in the shelter or transitional housing program.

Case Management and Counseling

Continue Life, Inc. provides case management services which include referrals to appropriate community resources and advocacy to obtain permanent housing in the community.

Life Skills

Residents are required to attend an on-site program in which they receive information on housing options, home maintenance, budgeting, landlord/ tenant rights, resource management, employment preparation, self-esteem and conflict management.

Parenting and Childbirth

Residents prepare for the childbirth experience through a series of handson classes. Interactive parenting classes address infant and toddler development and basic childcare.

Transportation

Continue Life, Inc. provides transportation assistance to clients for academic purposes, medical and social service appointments, and field trips.
